When a high school football star is suddenly stricken with irreversible total blindness, he must decide whether to live a safe handicapped life or bravely return to the life he once knew and the sport he still loves. Travis Freeman (Mark Hapka), a local football star, loses his sight after a series of severe headaches and a bacterial meningitis infection. With the help of his parents, best friend Jerry Baker (Bram Hoover), another childhood friend Ashley, and his mobility coach, Travis pulls through and starts his senior year at Corbin High School.
