32-year-old Maddie Barker is an Uber driver and bartender in Montauk, New York, desperate to keep her home as she faces bankruptcy. Desperate for a solution, she responds to an unusual Craigslist posting from wealthy couple Alison and Laird Becker seeking someone to date their 19-year-old son Percy in exchange for a Buick Regal. As Maddie attempts to seduce Percy at the animal shelter where he volunteers, they develop an unlikely friendship that takes them on a raunchy and lighthearted journey of self-discovery and letting go of the past.
