Mat Kilau

In 1892, Pahang was under British colonial rule, its wealth exploited by officials who imposed excessive taxes, confiscated land from Malays, and disrupted Islamic customs. In response, a Malay warrior named Mat Kilau and his friends rose up against the British administration, fighting in the jungle to defend their homeland. The film tells the true story of this heroic struggle, starring Adi Putra as Mat Kilau, who led a plan of resistance that ultimately clashed with the British in armed battle.
