Northern Limit Line

The 2015 South Korean naval thriller film "Northern Limit Line" tells the true story of the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong in 2002, where South Korean patrol boats clashed with North Korean vessels that crossed the maritime border known as the Northern Limit Line. Corporal Park Dong-hyuk (Lee Hyun-woo), a newly enlisted sailor on board the PKM 357 vessel, finds himself at the center of the battle alongside his commander Lieutenant Yoon Young-ha (Kim Mu-yeol). The film recreates the intense and deadly confrontation that left 19 wounded and four dead before ultimately forcing the North Korean patrol vessel to retreat.
