Zatoichi and the Fugitives

In this 1968 chambara film, Zatoichi runs afoul of a group of evil fugitives working for a corrupt law official. The blind masseur must use his skills and cunning to outwit and defeat his foes, who include a ruthless gang leader, his estranged son from the town's doctor family, and a woman with a troubled past. As Zatoichi navigates this treacherous landscape, he finds himself in a series of intense battles, including a dramatic house fight that ultimately leads to the downfall of his enemies.
