Set against the backdrop of post-war Romania, "With Clean Hands" tells the story of a communist-turned-police detective, Roman Mihai, who uses unorthodox methods to tackle the city's gangster problem and black marketeers. A rookie detective, Commissioner Tudor Miclovan is introduced as he takes on this challenging case, driven by his own personal demons.
