Back Home

"Back Home" is a 2015 Romanian film that tells the story of Robert, a young writer struggling to cope with his personal life, who returns to his native village for the first time since his mother's passing three years ago. He reunites with two former classmates: Petrica and Paula, played by Andi Vasluianu and Ioana Flora respectively, both of whom are dealing with their own marital issues. As Robert navigates his complicated relationships with his father, played by Florin Zamfirescu, and his loved ones, he must confront the emotional baggage that has been holding him back.
