The film follows Costache (Victor Rebengiuc), an elderly farmer struggling to rebuild his life after a devastating flood destroys his home. His son returns with his Japanese wife, Hiroko (Kana Hashimoto), and their seven-year-old child, forcing Costache to confront the loss of his late wife and reconnect with his family across generations.
