Spellbinder

"Spellbinder" (1988) is an occult-oriented thriller/horror film that follows Los Angeles attorney Jeff Mills (Timothy Daly) as he rescues a woman named Miranda Reed (Kelly Preston) from her abusive boyfriend and becomes entangled in a web of intrigue involving a satanic cult.
