In this gripping drama, architect Dinu Neagu's life is turned upside down when he's arrested on a beach in 1983, sparking a chain of events that lead to his imprisonment and an unlikely bond with fellow detainee Vali, a collaborator of the Security Service. As tensions simmer beneath the surface, the harsh realities of life behind bars become starkly apparent. Set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-communist Romania, "Arest" offers a powerful exploration of hope, resilience, and the human condition.
