"Și atunci, ce e libertatea?" is a 2020 Romanian drama film directed by Andrei Zincă, inspired by historical facts about the 1951 Communist-ordered deportation of 40,000 landowners and people of non-Romanian origins to the Baragan Plain. The story follows Turica Bazan (Iulia Lumânare), Emil Bazan (Radu Iacoban), and others as they face love and survival against the backdrop of this tragic event.
