Purple Rain

The Kid, a talented musician, escapes his abusive home life through music with his band The Revolution. He struggles to avoid repeating his father's mistakes and navigates a rocky relationship with Apollonia, an aspiring singer who becomes the object of desire for rival local musician Morris. As tensions rise, Billy Sparks, the club owner, warns The Kid that his emotional baggage is affecting his performances, leading to a tumultuous night at First Avenue. In the end, The Kid finds solace in music and performs a powerful concert that brings him closer to Apollonia and himself, as he comes to terms with his father's tragic fate.
