In 19th-century Romanian countryside, Anca (Dorina Lazăr) seeks Dragomir's (Cornel Dumitraș) confession to murdering her first husband, while Ion (Florin Zamfirescu), her lover, supports her quest for revenge. With Gheorghe (Dorel Vișan) serving as a potential obstacle, Anca navigates the complexities of love, crime, and retribution in this 1982 drama-action film inspired by Ion Luca Caragiale's play from 1890.
