Daughter of Rage

Daughter of Rage is a 2022 drama film about María, an 11-year-old girl who lives on the edge of a huge garbage dump with her mother Lilibeth (Virginia Raquel Sevilla García). Their future depends on selling a litter of purebred puppies to a local gang member, but when that deal falls through, Lilibeth is forced to leave María in a recycling factory. One night, María meets Tadeo (Carlos Gutiérrez), a kind and romantic boy who helps her find her mother after she feels lost, bewildered, and angry.
