Sonchiriya

In the lawless Chambal Valley in 1975, a gang of bandits led by Maan Singh, known as Baaghis or rebels, live by robbery and attack villages to evade being hunted by the police. When they learn about a treasure of gold at a wedding reception, they plan their next heist, but it becomes an ambush. Some escape, while others are killed, and the bandits meet a woman from the lowest caste who was seriously injured and raped by her family's clan. They see this as a chance to atone for their shameful crime, setting them on a path of redemption amidst danger and betrayal.
