Yuva

The 2004 Indian Hindi-language political crime drama film "Yuva" ties together three young men from different social classes after a bridge accident in Kolkata sparks a chain of events that will forever alter their lives. Lallan Singh, a violent migrant from Bihar, is involved with a corrupt politician and marries an idealistic woman; Michael Mukherjee, a student leader who fights against systemic interference in university elections; and Arjun Balachandran, the son of a senior IAS officer, becomes embroiled in Michael's movement after rescuing him from a river. As the narrative unfolds in non-linear fashion, these characters' disparate backgrounds are explored leading up to their confrontation.
