Riphagen

The 2016 Dutch drama film "Riphagen" tells the true story of Dries Riphagen, a notorious criminal who collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II. Despite his brutal treatment of others, Riphagen was able to gain the trust of Jewish women in hiding, including Esther Schaap, whom he treated with hospitality before betraying her and stealing her valuables. The film follows the story of Jan, a young resistance fighter who ultimately tracks down and kills Riphagen, but not before the cunning criminal escapes capture time and again.
