Harry and Tonto

Harry Coombes, played by Art Carney, embarks on a cross-country journey with his beloved cat Tonto after being evicted from his apartment in New York City. Along the way, he visits his children and shares moments of nostalgia and new experiences. As Harry reflects on life's ups and downs, Ellen Burstyn portrays Shirley Mallard, Harry's loving but prickly daughter, who becomes an important part of his journey.
