The Answer Man

Reclusive author Arlen Faber, a bestselling spiritual book author who rejected celebrity status, lives anonymously in Philadelphia and jealously guards his identity, until he's gradually revealed to a mail carrier, bookstore owner Kris, and chiropractor Elizabeth. A back injury brings him to her clinic, where they awkwardly start dating despite his abrasive nature and her concerns about her son's abandonment by her ex-husband. Arlen charms those around him but struggles with emotional blockages stemming from his father's death, prompting a crisis that forces him to change and come to terms with love. In the end, he finds solace in Elizabeth and they rekindle their relationship.
