The Bank

The Bank is a 2001 Australian thriller drama film directed by Robert Connolly and starring David Wenham as Jim Doyle/Paul Jackson, Anthony LaPaglia as Simon O'Reily, Sibylla Budd as Michelle Roberts, and Steve Rodgers as Wayne Davis. The film follows Jim Doyle, a maverick mathematician who joins the corrupt Centa Bank to predict stock market trends with his formula B.T.S.E., but finds himself caught between his loyalty to his employer and his growing feelings for his colleague Michelle. As the bank's profits skyrocket, Jim must confront the consequences of his actions and decide where his true loyalties lie.
