The One Man Band

L'homme orchestre is a comedy film about Evan Evans, played by Louis de Funès, who runs a ballet troupe in Monaco with an iron fist. When one of his dancers leaves to get married, Evans enlists the help of his nephew Philippe and assistant Françoise to find a new star, and discovers that Endrika's talent is undeniable, but her secret life as a mother poses complications. As Evans tries to uncover the truth about Endrika's child, he embarks on a series of misadventures in Italy, involving mistaken identities, confused affairs, and a young Sicilian girl who becomes Philippe's wife.
