Un amour à taire

A young Jewish girl, Sara (Louise Monot as Yvonne), is taken in by her childhood friend Jean (Jérémie Renier), a gay man sheltering her after witnessing her parents and sister's brutal murder by a smuggler who betrayed them during an attempt to escape to England. Traumatized, Sara is passed off as Christian employee "Yvonne" at Jean's laundromat under his plan, but a poor decision by Jean's brother Jacques leads to Jean being falsely accused of having an affair with a German officer, sending him to a Nazi labor camp.
