In a cleverly disguised web of security cameras, "The Last Video Store" captures the tender unfolding of an emerging romance between two young employees at a Gold Coast video rental store. As their love blossoms, they must confront the twisted machinations of Stacy's ex-boyfriend, a menacing figure with a dark secret. This low-key Australian indie film skillfully weaves together themes of nostalgia, bravery, and unrequited love in a tense showdown set against the backdrop of a beloved but vulnerable store.
