Children of the Corn

A young couple, Vicky (Linda Hamilton) and her husband Burt (Peter Horton), visit a remote Nebraska town where they find it abandoned except for kids scurrying around. Horror ensues as they discover the town's children have killed all adults and established a religious cult based on a bloodthirsty deity. The cult, led by Isaac Chroner (John Franklin) and Malachai Boardman (Courtney Gains), lead the children in human sacrifices, including Vicky and Burt, whom they try to sacrifice as part of their dark ritual.
