In the gritty and unforgiving world of Rio's favelas, two childhood friends Acerola and Laranjinha are on the cusp of adulthood as a brutal gang war erupts around them. As they grapple with the harsh realities of their missing fathers' pasts, their long-held friendship is put to the test by secrets and lies that threaten to tear them apart.
