Where the North Begins

In the 1923 silent drama film "Where the North Begins," Rin-Tin-Tin stars as The Wolf-Dog, a German Shepherd puppy adopted by a wolf pack in the frozen Canadian wilderness. As the dog grows, he forms a strong bond with French fur-trapper Gabriel Dupre (Walter McGrail), but when Dupre's sweetheart is threatened, the Wolf-Dog runs away after being falsely accused of attacking a baby. Ultimately, his name is cleared and Dupre brings him back to help kill the villainous manager who had sought to harm them.
