The Lady of Heaven

The Lady of Heaven is a 2021 British historical drama film that tells two stories separated by 1400 years. After losing his mother in a war-torn country, an Iraqi child learns the importance and power of patience by discovering the historical story of Lady Fatima and her suffering. Laith, played by Gabriel Cartade, finds himself a new home with an elderly woman who shares the story of Fatima, daughter of Islamic prophet Muhammad, from the Shia perspective, explaining how she was the first victim of terrorism.
