The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

Kyon wakes up in a world where Haruhi Suzumiya and Itsuki Koizumi don't exist, and the SOS Brigade is missing. Mikuru Asahina doesn't recognize him, but A new Yuki Nagato, who was once ordinary, welcomes him to dinner. Kyon learns that Haruhi still exists, having simply moved to a different high school, and he convinces her of his story, which involves traveling back in time to find the keys needed for Yuki's program. After activating the program, Kyon finds himself in the past on Tanabata, where an adult Mikuru meets him and takes him to a young Yuki, who reveals that she stole Haruhi's powers to create this world without paranormal beings.
