Metronom

In 1972 Romania, Ana and Sorin, two teenagers who fell in love, are forced to end their relationship when Sorin announces his plans to escape to West Germany. The young couple reunites at a party where they listen to the clandestine radio broadcast "Metronom" by DJ Cornel Chiriac, which inspires them to express their desire for freedom through a letter. However, their act of defiance attracts unwanted attention from the authorities, leading to a detentment that serves as a chilling reminder of the Communist regime's tight grip on dissenting voices.
