A lonely nightwatchman at a Helsinki shopping mall is manipulated by an icy blonde femme fatale who exploits his gullibility and loyalty, leading to a downward spiral of betrayal and heartbreak. As he falls deeply in love with Mirja, Koistinen's life unravels, culminating in a prison sentence that sets him on a path of redemption. With classical music as its poignant soundtrack, Lights in the Dusk is a powerful exploration of loneliness, despair, and the human condition.
