12 and Holding

Three close-knit 12-year-olds embark on a journey of self-discovery as they grapple with loss, guilt, and the search for identity in their own voices, distinct from those of their parents. After an accidental fire destroys their treehouse, Rudy's twin brother Jacob is consumed by grief, leading him down a path of confrontation and revenge against the boys who started the blaze that took his brother's life. Meanwhile, their friends Leonard and Malee navigate their own struggles with identity, family dynamics, and first loves, all set against the backdrop of a small New Jersey town reeling from tragedy.
