The Dream Team

Four mental patients on a field trip in New York City, led by Billy (Michael Keaton), must save their chaperone Dr. Weitzman (Dennis Boutsikaris) from two corrupt cops after he inadvertently witnesses a murder and ends up in the hospital in a coma. The group uses and overcomes their delusions and disorders to save Dr. Weitzman, with each patient behaving competently as they revisit past scenes and confront their personal struggles. Ultimately, the patients succeed in turning in the criminals, and Dr. Weitzman recovers, allowing them to attempt another outing to Yankee Stadium.
