Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Lorelei Lee (Marilyn Monroe) and Dorothy Shaw (Jane Russell), two American showgirls and best friends, embark on a sea cruise to France, where Lorelei plans to marry her wealthy fiancé Gus Esmond Jr., despite their father's disapproval. However, things become complicated when Lorelei meets the rich and foolish Sir Francis "Piggy" Beekman and hires private detective Ernie Malone to spy on her. As they arrive in France, Lorelei and Dorothy get caught up in a series of comedic situations, including a missing tiara, a courtroom drama, and a double wedding, all while navigating their complicated relationships with men who value wealth and those who value love.
