The Darwin Awards

The Darwin Awards follows Michael Burrows (Joseph Fiennes), a former criminal profiler for the San Francisco Police Department, as he loses his job after a hematophobia-induced lapse allows a serial killer to escape. He teams up with Siri Taylor (Winona Ryder) from an insurance company to investigate strange and unusual deaths, including re-enactments of "Darwin Awards" cases like the infamous JATO rocket car story. As they travel the country, Michael tries to pinpoint a common factor among these individuals while navigating his own personal demons.
