Ulysses' Gaze

Harvey Keitel stars as A, an exiled filmmaker, in a journey across Albania, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Greece, searching for lost film by the Manakis brothers. Along the way, he encounters Ivo Levy (Erland Josephson), a curator who had attempted to develop the reels before the war. The film culminates in A's exploration of Sarajevo with Levy's family, amidst the city's siege, and ends on a rare foggy day that protects locals from snipers.
