In this 1994 comedy-mystery film, Dana Carvey stars as Pogue, a private eye suffering from retrograde amnesia – a rare form of amnesia that prevents him from remembering anything from the previous day. As he navigates his complicated investigation and blossoming romance, Pogue's condition becomes a wild card in a cat-and-mouse game with henchmen, blackmailers, and even himself. With a unique premise and witty banter, Clean Slate is a cleverly plotted, laugh-out-loud romp through the ups and downs of memory loss.
