The film "All This Mayhem" (2014) is a searing and unflinching account of twin brothers Tas and Ben Pappas' rise to professional skateboarding stardom and their subsequent descent into self-destruction, marked by drug abuse, smuggling, prison, and ultimately murder. The documentary follows the intense bond between the two brothers, whose charisma and raw talent are contrasted with their downward spiral into a world of darkness. With its effective use of montage and editing, "All This Mayhem" is a candid and clear-eyed portrayal of near-fame's darker side.
