The Temp

Timothy Hutton plays Peter Derns, a recently divorced father and executive at Cooke Company, whose life is turned upside down after the arrival of Kris Bolin (Lara Flynn Boyle), a mysterious female temp worker in his office. As various people around the office meet with unfortunate "accidents", Peter becomes increasingly suspicious that Kris might be behind the deaths, while she appears to be endearing herself to him by solving product issues and proving her loyalty and quick-wittedness.
