The Wizard of Gore

In the darkly phantasmagorical world of Montag the Magnificent's carnival magic shows, young journalist Edmund "Ed" Bigelow (Kip Pardue) investigates a series of gruesome murders linked to the magician's "illusions." As Ed delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the line between reality and the tricks is increasingly blurred. The film follows Ed as he unravels the truth behind Montag's seemingly impossible and brutally fatal magic shows, with each victim appearing to come back to life only to be found dead later.
