Going All the Way

Going All the Way 5.7
In 1954, two 24-year-old men return to Indianapolis after the Korean War, where they form a lasting bond as they navigate their post-war lives and search for love and fulfillment in middle America during the conservative 1950s. As Gunner Casselman tries to convince his mother that his gal Marty is good enough for him, and Sonny Burns struggles with loyalty and temptation, the men realize they're outgrowing the lives they lived before the war. Set against the backdrop of Dan Wakefield's semi-autobiographical novel, "Going All the Way" is a drama that explores themes of friendship, love, and growing up in the 1950s.
