The Chosen

Kirk Douglas plays Robert Caine, the industrialist head of a nuclear power plant in the Middle East, who must stop his son Simon Ward as Angel from blowing it up after discovering that he is the Antichrist. As Caine delves deeper into the mystery, a series of suspicious accidents occur, and he envisions the plant rising from the sea like a multi-headed monster in a prophesied apocalypse. The film features Kirk Douglas, Simon Ward, Agostina Belli, Anthony Quayle, and Adolfo Celi, with an original musical score by Ennio Morricone.
