Air Collision

When a solar storm cripples communications worldwide, two aircraft are put in perilous collision course: a commercial airliner carrying hundreds of passengers and Air Force One, carrying President Phillips and his family. The malfunctioning satellite-based air traffic control system sends out errant commands that put both aircraft into serious jeopardy. A desperate attempt to prevent the disaster unfolds as the ACAT wreaks havoc on surrounding aircraft and forces a heroic act by President Phillips' daughter to disable the deadly system. Ultimately, Air Force One is grounded in Detroit after an extraordinary rescue effort fails.
