Set against the poignant backdrop of Bucharest's Văcărești Prison, "The Delta of Bucharest" (2020) documents the astonishing transformation of a once-haunted site into an unspoiled natural oasis. In the 1950s and '60s, it was here that political prisoners gave birth to their children in one of Romania's most beautiful monasteries, now reclaimed by nature as a protected ecosystem teeming with unique plant and animal life.
