Jeb Maynard (Charles Bronson), a patrolman guarding the U.S.-Mexican border, seeks to identify the killers of his friend and colleague Scooter Jackson after he is murdered by an illegal alien smuggler named Hotchkiss, who is also known as "the Marine." Maynard poses as an illegal alien himself to catch Hotchkiss, with the help of rookie Patrol Agent Jimmy Fantes (Bruno Kirby) and Elena Morales, the mother of a Mexican boy killed in the same attack. As they delve deeper into the case, Maynard uncovers a sophisticated human trafficking operation that involves ruthless exploitation of migrant workers by rancher Carl J. Richards.
