The film "Doomsday Party" follows angry protests in front of Hong Kong's LegCo building after a double bomb scare, which escalates into chaos when two young people, Lang (Kelvin Kwan) and Fish (Fish Liew), hold up a bank nearby. The story then jumps back in time to explore the intertwined lives of eight characters who converge on the bank: Detective Kin-ho (Paul Wong), Luk Wan-yee (Kay Tse), Yue Chung-tak (Teddy Robin), councilman Ho Chung-lai (K.K. Cheung) and his mistress Rebecca (Maggie Chan).
