In the aftermath of D-Day, a chance encounter between a British platoon leader and a French girl sets off a chain reaction that challenges the boundaries of love and loyalty in the midst of war. As the reality of their situation sinks in, the couple must confront the darker side of human nature, all while struggling to hold on to each other amidst the chaos of conflict. Based on a novel by M.K. Joseph, "A Soldier's Tale" is a poignant exploration of the human cost of war and its effects on the heart.
