Little Rose

In the 2010 Polish drama "Little Rose," a young and naive woman named Kamila is recruited by her lover to spy on a respected intellectual, Adam Warczewski, in order to discredit him before his superiors. As she gains intimacy with Warczewski, however, Kamila finds herself developing genuine feelings for the professor, blurring the lines between loyalty, duty, and forbidden love. Set against the backdrop of Poland's tumultuous 1960s, the film explores the darker aspects of communism and the human cost of betrayal and repression.
