The Sound of Summer

In the scorching summer heat, where cicadas emerge to shatter the air, a strange figure emerges, defying the sweltering temperatures. The Cicada Man, an enigmatic local oddity, walks through the streets with boxes full of live cicadas, leaving others to wonder about his intentions. As our heroine succumbs to the debilitating effects of the season, her grip on reality begins to slip, and she becomes convinced that the insects have taken up residence inside her - a terrifying descent into paranoia and self-mutilation.
