The Distinguished Gentleman

In this biting comedy of corruption, a cunning con man named Thomas Jefferson Johnson sees an opportunity to become the ultimate politician when he discovers that his last name shares a seat in Congress. By leveraging the deceased Congressman's old campaign material and exploiting voters' inertia, Johnson wins a slim victory and finds himself in Washington D.C., where he's initially wooed by lobbyists with promises of gold-lined streets.
