Aaron Corbett (Paul Wesley) is a high schooler whose 18th birthday brings a shocking discovery: he's not just a man, but also half human and half angel, making him a Nephilim with supernatural abilities. As he navigates his newfound identity, Aaron learns about the existence of angels and falls in love with Vilma Rodriguez (Fernanda Andrade), who believes in their reality. However, being a Nephilim puts him in danger, especially after Verchiel (Lisa Lackey), an angelic adversary, sets out to destroy him.
